Fitness Classes

If you are ready to shake things up a bit and try new ways to get in shape, Studio X offers a variety of fitness classes designed to compliment or offer an alternative to your usual routine. Fitness classes that are “out of the ordinary” are extra fun and a great way to work muscles you didn’t even know you had!

What you need to know about fitness classes:

  • Fitness classes are open to all fitness levels and students are encouraged to work to personal comfort. Modifications are taught to accommodate all strength and fitness levels.
  • Fitness classes may be purchased per class or in value packs of 10 classes.
  • All fitness class value packs of 10 lessons expire one year from the date of purchase.
  • Dance classes are priced slightly higher than fitness classes and prices/ packages are not interchangeable.
  • Classes are held in a supportive ladies-only atmosphere.
  • Check the individual class descriptions below for class length and dress/footwear requirements.
  • For your safety, please wear a minimum amount of jewelry and do not apply body lotions/oils prior to fitness classes.
  • All fitness classes are drop-in and registration is not required, however, class size is limited so arrive early to secure your spot in class.
  • Our late arrival policy applies to fitness classes. Please familiarize yourself with it on our policies page.

Hoop Dance

Try a new energizing, fat-burning cardio and muscle-sculpting workout that is FUN, creative and sexy! Hooping is an extremely low impact activity that tones the core and can burn between 400 and 600 calories an hour. This workshop will provide you with the basics of hoopdance,technique courtesy of Hoopnotica certified instructors, enabling you to combine technical moves and tricks with freestyle or technical dancing. Hoops will be provided or you may bring your own. Join the growing hoopdance community!

Polefit

Get into swimsuit shape with POLEFIT, an unconventional way to strengthen, tone and cultivate flexibility using the pole to provide resistance. This intense hour long class begins with a cardio warm up and maintains the workout through a series of pole maneuvers working your upper body, core and legs. Learn to climb and spin at a pace that is comfortable for you. Please wear shorts under your warm-up clothing. Shoes optional for this class.
